СІМЕЙНІ ЦІННОСТІ В ЖИТТІ СУЧАСНОЇ СТУДЕНТСЬКОЇ МОЛОДІ УКРАЇНИ: РЕЛІГІЄЗНАВЧЕ ДОСЛІДЖЕННЯ

The paper presents the results of the empirical study of the family values of contemporary Ukrainian students in the context of their religious affiliation. The study used interdisciplinary integration of methods of religious studies and sociology. On the basis of the axiological approach, the results of the analysis of religious and family priorities and values were studied and summarized; the structural-functional approach allowed to determine the role and place of various religious organizations and the family institution in shaping the value basis of consciousness and the morals of modern youth. Conclusions: 1) on the basis of the analysis of the sociological data we received, the correlation between the number of visits by the youth of the Christian churches, their relation to religion and priorities in family values was revealed; 2) it is proved that the outlook of the majority of Ukrainian youth is determined by the very strong orientation towards respect for the family, for those religious and cultural values that are passed from the older generation to the young.
