Abstract
- This letter presents a robust rotor-current sensorless control (RCSC) scheme for decoupling control of active and reactive powers of a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG). The RCSC scheme does not involve power control loops and rotor-current measurements, which simplifies the implementation and improves the sensor fault tolerance of the system. Besides, RCSC provides fully decoupled power control, and it is robust to model uncertainties. Case studies are undertaken on a DFIG system to verify the control performance of the scheme.
