Abstract
- The article offers information on the Britannia class Standard Pacific steam locomotives which were built and operated by railroad company British Railways during the 1950-1960 era. Topics discussed include the origin of these locomotives, allocation of the locomotives and details on their design. Details on their withdrawals which occurred from 1965-1968 are also presented.
