The Poet in Collective.

In this article the author discusses about the poetry of the poet Wolf Biermann. Biermann has become a symbol of resistance for young Germans on both sides of the Berlin Wall. Many Germans consider him as their leading political poet. Biermann's war with the Ulbricht regime represents a change of mood among East German writers. The poet's battle for a freer, more dynamic communism continues in the new collection of his work which has just appeared in West Berlin, entitled "Mit Marxund Engelszungen."
