Abstract

The single crystals of benzyltributylammonium tetrachloro cobaltate (II) monohydrate (BTBA-Co) crystals were grown by slow evaporation solution growth technique at room temperature. The structural characteristics of the grown crystals were studied using Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR - 1H and 13C) spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) and unit cell parameter analyses.
