Abstract

The aim of the present study was to determine whether the width of the subpubic arch angle (SPA) measured by 3D ultrasound is associated with a higher incidence of failure of vacuum extraction (VE) delivery. Mode of delivery was categorized into successful vaginal VE, or failed VE, including all infants who were delivered with a VE attempt followed by an emergency Caesarean sections.
