Abstract
- This paper proposes and implements a switched-capacitorless energy-encrypted transmitter and a 2-D frequency and duration encryption (FDE) technology for roadway-charging electric vehicles based on wireless power transfer (WPT). To prevent the encrypted energy package from being illegally decrypted by unauthorized receivers, the proposed 2-D chaotic FDE scheme generates a well-defended security key to improve the security performance for the multi-receiver WPT system. Moreover, by introducing a continuously energy-encrypted transmitter without using a switched-capacitor array as well as a hybrid modulation of pulse density modulation and pulse frequency modulation, the proposed FDE-WPT system can offer high energy security while maintaining high efficiency at flexible operating frequencies. Theoretical analysis, computer simulation, and experimental results are provided to verify the feasibility of the proposed FDE-WPT system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
