Abstract

The article presents the author's views on PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) in dental care. Topics discussed include why PMMA is considered almost ideal plastic for all dental applications; use of hot and cold polymers as dental plastics; and why universal plastics have become indispensable in modern plastic prosthetics.
