India Holds First National Nursing Research Conference.

The article throws light on a national nursing research conference, held for the first time in India on October 1982 at Bangalore. The theme of the conference was "Nursing research in India -- prospect and retrospect." The association plan to do a thorough study, develop recommendations and hold discussions with nurses throughout the country on the appropriate future preparation of nurses in Japan. Many distinguished women attended as observers the committee meeting at which this legislation was presented to show support for the proposal.
