Abstract

The article explores the growing popularity of digital signage in the retail industry in the U.S. It states that retailers need to consider the higher expectations of the customers on the signages that bring significant marketing messages while anticipating for an authentic, story-driven and friction-free in-store experience. The statement of shopper behavior expert Ed King on the significance of the attitudes of the consumers in adopting the technologies is also emphasized.
