Poverty-reduction policy responses to gender and social diversity in Uganda.

How does a lack of consideration to gender and diversity restrict the success of implementing poverty-reduction policies? What are the lessons to be learned from past mistakes and omissions? This article examines the Uganda Participatory Poverty Assessment Process (UPPAP), which fed into Uganda's Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (PRSP).
