Contrast enhancement by metal staining.

The article discusses the method for enhancing the contrast during the imaging of neuronal structures with the use of radiocontrast metals for staining. It outlines information on the anatomies of the mouse retina which has been strained by osmium and the hippocampus stained by Golgi-Cox.
