Abstract
- The article offers a study related to Nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC), a disease in which malignant cells form in the tissues of the nasopharynx. Topics discussed include radiotherapy of patients and proton boost was obtained for all the patients with 201 MeV protons and the double scattering technique was used; the R-Studio software has been used for analyses; and concluded that a proton boost could be a good option for the treatment of locally advanced NPC, and particularly for the T4N0M0.
