Abstract

The article focuses on tattoo as mineral art which refers from Polynesian culture that means to mark or write on something. It mentions the increase in number of mineral collectors who expressed their love on minerals by choosing mineral design for their tattoo. It cites mineral collector Rory Boyan whose tattoo shows the structure of a tourmaline molecule. It adds Bruce Jarnot whose tattoo represents as a celebration for his years of collecting pegmatite minerals for more than forty years.
