Abstract
- The article offers information on several terms which are used during measurement of permeability and erodibility testing of soils. Topics discussed include information on permeability which is the ability of a porous material to allow the passage of a fluid, Darcy's law, as per which velocity of the flow of water through a soil is directly proportional to the hydraulic gradient; and information on laminar flow.
