Abstract
- The article discusses research which investigated prevalence and distribution of metacarpal head cartilage damage in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and hand osteoarthritis (OA). Topics explored include the clinical characteristics and manifestation of RA and OA, results of the image acquisition and radiographic examination performed, and the observed link between cartilage damage, patient's age, and disease duration.
