Abstract
- The article offers information on label Muslim writing which has been used primarily for authors who are openly religious while writing on topics in relation to Islam and Muslim identity. Topics discussed include novels by authors like Mohsin Hamid, Michael Muhammad Knight and Mohja Kahf which are built around that how do Muslims find a place while constantly having to move, in the post 9/11 world; and apllies Alexander Beecroft's theory of the ecologies of world literature.
