Abstract

Due to the outstanding light-thermal conversion behavior of the SiO SB 2 sb @PPy@mSiO SB 2 sb , a NIR light-controlled drug delivery system is constructed based on the SiO SB 2 sb @PPy@mSiO SB 2 sb and thermosensitive PEG-PCL-PEG copolymer. On the contrary, the PEG-PCL-PEG copolymers will retain their hydrogel phase without NIR irradiation and the drug molecules can still be well encapsulated within the SiO SB 2 sb @PPy@mSiO SB 2 sb , leading to negligible release of 5-FU. In other words, both the excellent light-thermal conversion efficiency of nano PPy in the SiO SB 2 sb @PPy@mSiO SB 2 sb and the thermosensitive gel-sol transition behavior of the PEG-PCL-PEG hydrogel contribute to the sustained release of the drug. The results reveal that both the excellent light-thermal conversion efficiency of the nano PPy in the SiO SB 2 sb @PPy@mSiO SB 2 sb and the thermosensitive gel-sol transition behavior of the PEG-PCL-PEG hydrogel contribute to the sustained release of 5-FU.
