Abstract
- In this article, the author discusses evolution of big model railroad cars from 1947 to 1989. Topics discussed include previously big meant for American Flyer or Lionel Standard Wide Gauge trains, now big trains having different meaning featuring Wide gauges and joined LGB, and standard heavyweight passenger cars and range of freight accompanied Pacifics, shorty fluted streamliners.
