Abstract

Tunable In<subscript>2</subscript>O<subscript>3</subscript> hierarchical microstructures consisting of single crystalline octahedral particles and polycrystalline fibers have been synthesized by one-step electrospinning combined with a subsequent calcination process, in which their enhanced gas-sensing mechanism is mainly ascribed to the synergistic effect of two typical structural units.
