Status quo and prospect of pore structure in the heap leaching medium based on CT scanning technique.

This paper outlined the principles and applications of CT technology, and introduced the application status of CT technology in studying pore structure of granular ore medium at domestic and foreign, pointed out the problems in studying heap leaching medium with CT technology, and looks forward to the prospect of using CT technology to study the pore structure characteristics during biological uranium leaching. Finally, it was proposed that the study of pore structure of heap leaching medium by X-ray CT technology can deeply study the relationship between pore characteristics and solute transport in the process of leaching, and improve the understanding of biological leaching mechanism of heap leaching system.
