The Informal COMP‐FUSED City: Market and Urban Structure in Latin American Metropolises.

The article focuses on crisis of urban Fordism is manifested above all through two axes of change and crisis of the state financing of urban housing, facilities and infrastructure and some collective urban services. It mentions collective actions that promoted the production of ‘self-built cities', with their usual cycle of occupation/self-construction/self-urbanisation and finally of consolidation of Informal Settlements (ISs).
