Abstract

The article discusses a study which has found that those systemic sclerosis (SSc) patients who have abnormal electrophysiological (EP) tests are likely to develop significant arrhythmias over 3 years. Topics covered include the lack systematic approach to screening in SSc, and the potential for standard electrophysiology and serum cardiac biomarkers for use in identifying future arrhythmia.
