Abstract

Focuses on the shedding-influencing role of structural elements of the ectodomain of CD30, a known substrate of tumor necrosis factorα-converting enzyme. Antibody-dependent inhibition of CD30 shedding; Regulation of the releasing enzyme in a feedback fashion by the soluble product through competitive inhibition; Modulation of sCD30 release by the cleavage product.
