«ПРАВО НА ОДРУЖЕННЯ» ЗА НІМЕЦЬКИМ ОКУПАЦІЙНИМ ЗАКОНОДАВСТВОМ НА ТЕРЕНАХ РАЙХСКОМІСАРІАТУ «УКРАЇНА» (1941 - 1944 РР.)

Having used a wide group of archival documents and other sources, having analyzed their content, the author of the publication studies questions of the policy of the German occupation authorities in the field of establishing family and marriage relations local population, which was held in the territory of the RKU. Reconstruction of these aspects of the past makes it possible to study in more detail the problems of the Nazi occupation regime, which functioned on the territory of Ukraine in 1941 - 1944. The author of the publication claims that with the initiative of the occupation administration a special procedure was introduced for establishing family legal relations for the local population. At the same time, normative legal acts in the sphere of family legislation often changed, adapting to the tasks of economic exploitation of Ukraine's labor reserves. A special procedure for registration of family and marriage relations indicates that with its help the occupation authorities sought to find out the nationality and political past of the representatives of the local population. The existence of several normative legal acts in the sphere of family legislation intended for Ukrainians, Volksdeutsche and Jews points to the fact that the principles of racism at the center of the ideology of Nazism directly influenced the formation of family and marriage law.
