Abstract
- The article focuses on the book "One Day in the World's Press: Fourteen Great Newspapers on a Day of Crisis," edited with a commentary by Wilbur Schramm. The world has grown so small in terms of communication that on a given day twelve out of the fourteen leading newspapers on five continents led with the same news. Twelve of the fourteen agreed also on what was the second story, and most of them picked the same top five stories. The newspapers have been selected for total political balance in part.
