Abstract
- In article the author criticizes Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's decision to convert Hagia Sophia museum into an Islamic mosque. Topics include that the action inspires right wing Islamists who aspire for a caliphate; and Turkey's military campaigns in the Middle east especially in Iraq, Syria and Libya that have caused instability.
