Abstract
- The article presents an interview with Professor Balram Bhargava, who is currently Secretary, Department of Health Research, Government of India and Director General, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Topics discussed by him includes strategies and preparedness of the government and ICMR to fight against COVID-19, measures taken for containment and mitigation of the coronavirus infection and India's stand on using malaria drug Hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19.
