Abstract: The article focuses on the role of community pharmacists in the delivery of diabetes care. Topics include the community pharmacists are a largely untapped resource in the delivery of diabetes care, growing number of people living with diabetes and increasing demand on healthcare services, and the pharmacies have longer opening hours than many general practice surgeries or secondary care outpatient facilities.
