The article focuses on right of publicity which is part of intellectual property rights conceptualized in 1950 and mentions codification of statutory right of publicity of California in 1972. Topics discussed include jurisdiction placed on restriction on individual qualifying for right of publicity protection, federal right of publicity bill drafted by the American Bar Association and ability to produce false humiliating and pornographic content.
