Abstract
- Focuses on the problems associated with international cartels to operate within countries where monopolies cannot control the domestic market particularly and role of the U.S. in solving the problems. Measures suggested to overcome the problems relating to the cartels; Necessity to enforce the existing anti-trust laws by U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt's administration; Need to devise effective means of regulation to support legislation and actions in courts; Importance of holding patents of German origin companies after the World War II; Requirement for the government to retain some of the plants established during the war to ensure full employment and fair prices; Urgency to install democratic planning in the country; Suggestion for establishment of an international agency to stabilize world trade; Proposal for an investment bank or world reconstruction finance cooperation.
