Performance and emission studies on DI diesel engine fuelled by prosopis juliflora bio diesel with hydrogen as dual fuel.

As petroleum fuels are depleting due to rapid increase of users, researchers are probing for suitable alternative fuels. This paper tries to find out the performance and emissions characteristics of diesel engine using Prosopisjuliflora bio diesel with Hydrogen gas as dual fuel. Performance of this fuel was tested in a single cylinder diesel engine. Results were showing comparable performance for the entire fuel.
