Toxicity of Two Entomopathogenic Fungi against Black Bean Aphid Aphis fabae Scopoli under Laboratory Conditions.

This study was conducted to evaluate the crude filtrates of Isaria fumosorosea and Trichoderma harzianum against the nymphs and adults of Aphis fabae. I. fumosorosea filtrates gave 90.0 and 65.32% of mortality of nymphs and adults, respectively, compared to 13.83 and 9.22% in controls after 72 h. Comparatively filtrates of T. harzianum were less active at similar concentration and mortality of 71.81 and 53.88% of nymphs and adults was recorded post 72 h treatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
