Abstract
- A coordination polymer (CP) containing Co(II) was prepared via combination of 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene (bpee) and semi-rigid, ether-based unsymmetrical tetracarboxylic acid 2,3,3′,4′-diphenyl ether tetracarboxylic acid (H<subscript>4</subscript>detc) under hydrothermal conditions, [Co<subscript>2</subscript>(detc)(bpee)<subscript>2</subscript>·5H<subscript>2</subscript>O]·1.5H<subscript>2</subscript>O. After construction of the postpartum hemorrhage animal model, the plasma was collected and prothrombin time (PT) was measured to evaluate the prothrombin activity of the compound. Then, the ELISA detection kit was used to measure the levels of the factor IX and factor XI in the plasma. After that, the content of inflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and Interleukin-1β (IL-1β) was determined and the prevention activity of the compound on the disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) during postpartum hemorrhage was assessed. Finally, the real time RT-PCR was performed and the relative expression of the inflammatory genes was measured. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
