An editorial is presented on Edoxaban in atrial fibrillation patients with percutaneous coronary intervention by acute or chronic coronary syndrome presentation. Topics include balancing competing risks of bleeding and ischaemic event; providing the best balance of protection from ischaemic events while limiting bleeding in patients; and suggesting a higher rate of ischaemic events with the edoxaban-based regimen in patients.
