Abstract
- The article offers information on simple statement from Appendix 1 of the USDA/FSIS's HACCP regulation summarizes why cleaning and sanitizing is so important to food processors. Topics include the sanitation maintains or restores a state of cleanliness, the promotes hygiene for prevention of foodborne illness, and the sanitation is perhaps the most detailed and complex of the prerequisite programs that form the foundation for producing safe foods.
