Abstract
- As the radar system tends to be complex, obtaining well-focused images with discontinued apertures becomes a challenge. Here, a new sparse aperture inverse synthetic aperture radar (SA-ISAR) imaging approach through the signal recovery method is proposed. Considering the available samples of data sets as fixed values and the missing samples as variables, the algorithm employs a gradient-based method to approach the true values of missing samples by iterations. The algorithm can recover the complete signals with a high precision. Experiments based on the measured data are carried out to validate the superiority of the novel algorithm. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
