Diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia at the Prodromal Stage.

This article addresses questions in the diagnosis of Lewy body dementia at the prodromal stage. Despite clinical studies using standard international criteria, cases of divergence between clinical and pathological anatomical diagnoses are not infrequent. This review addresses approaches to the early and more accurate detection of Lewy body dementia and prognostication of the course of disease, as well as problems of the optimum treatment of disease.
