The article focuses on the role water companies and sanitation service professionals in combating the effect of climate change. It presents views of Frederic Van Heems, president of the FP2E (Federation Professionnelle des Entreprises de l'Eau), on climate change. It also offers suggestions on combating the effect of climate change which include decarbonization of services of water, maintenance of agricultural composting and improvement in the quality of water, as of February 2021.
