Initially, he developed mildly pruritic rashes after starting the anti-hepatitis C virus (HCV) treatment with oral ledipasvir/sofosbuvir once daily for 9 weeks; however, the skin rashes have deteriorated and persisted after completion of a 12-week treatment course.
