Abstract

Two stilbenoids previously not observed in Shorea robusta (Sal) were isolated from 30% aqueous isopropanol extract of its knotwood. The compounds were purified by HPLC and identified as ampelopsin A and vatalbinoside A by NMR spectroscopy and mass-spectrometry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
