SAFE AND STRATEGIC: Hyaluronic and Retinoic Acid Derivative Allays Aging and Acne.

The article discusses development of hyaluronic acid and retinoic acid derivatives to combine their individual anti-acne and anti-aging efficacies. Topics discussed include anti-inflammatory effects of derivatives which are mediated by the inhibition of immune factors, like pro-inflammatory cytokine production; ability to decrease sebum content and the number of pores and their size; and anti-aging effect of the test conjugate in vitro through its ability to induce collagen synthesis.
