Abstract
- In this paper, a 2D indoor direction and location finding system using a gradient descent machine learning algorithm is presented. The proposed antenna consists of four folded dipole antennas and an SP4T PIN diode switch. The SP4T switch was controlled by four digital output pins of the Arduino microcontroller. The antenna was connected to the USRP N200 SDR and controlled by the LabView platform. LabView transfers the magnitude of the received RF power to MATLAB to calculate the incident angle and distance of an electromagnetic wave source. The measured accuracy of the proposed 2D indoor direction and location finding system was approximately 97 %. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
