The article discusses shortage of skilled workers in construction, the manufacture of wood products, and tourism sector of Austria. Topics discussed include rise in long-term unemployment in Austria; importance to rethink corporate cultures due to lack of attention to the interaction of different generations; and need to design workplace as a learning place where young people not only enjoy working, but also want to learn.
