Abstract

(Bloomberg) -- The U.K. economy grew less than expected despite the relaxation of lockdown curbs extended to restaurants, hotels and cinemas. Even if June's GDP reading shows no change from May, the economy will grow by 4.5% in the second quarter, the fastest pace since 1973 barring the post-lockdown rebound in the third quarter of last year, the ONS said.
