Abstract: The article presents the discussion on contingency concept formulated to deal with any operational disruptions in a Reprocessing Unit for Medical Devices (RUMED). Topics include taking account of the breakdown of the technical infrastructure and equipment, disruption of supply media, and human resources as well as structural damage; and handover location for contaminated medical devices with personal handover and documentation.
