Embracing complexity in the culture of early childhood education.

An editorial is presented on Early Childhood Education. Topics include fostering impact and supporting a small community of researcher and practitioners advocating for change; classrooms being well established cultures with social organisations and work-related agendas embodied in longstanding curricula; and exploring gender differences in Physics and focusing from the traditional female gender barriers.
