Economic and cultural advantages of encouraging immigrants from Europe to the U.S.; Attitude of the mass of people who are compelled to witness and put up with an incursion of foreign faces, language, behavior, interests; Assessment of the status of the American tourist like that of the European immigrant; Opinion that an American in Europe is almost as privileged a person as a European in China; Argument pertaining to the incidents of xenophobia directed toward American tourists.
