Abstract

Dear Sirs, We read with great interest the article by Takai et al. [[1]] reporting seven cases of superficial siderosis (SS) associated with spontaneous cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak due to a ventral dural defect. Ventral epidural CSF collections (C, arrow in D, E) presuming CSF leakage are depicted, including on the CT-myelography (F), but distinct ventral dural defect with contrast leakage is only seen on dynamic myelography (arrow in G).
