Abstract

Vein of Galen malformation (VOGM) is a rare congenital vascular malformation representing approximately 1% of intracranial arteriovenous malformations. Ultrasound, colour Doppler studies are non-invasive diagnostic techniques, however MRI is the preferred modality for diagnosing and predicting prognosis.
